How and why we collect information about you

We obtain information about you when you view our website, register for one of our services, or contact us about products and services. We do this in order to improve the services we offer.

What information we collect about you

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file, which often includes a unique identifier that is sent to your web browser from a website’s computer and is stored on your device.

When you visit this website, the pages and images you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded to your device. Many websites do this, because cookies enable website publishers to do useful things like find out whether the device (and probably its user) has visited the website before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking for a cookie left there on the last visit.

How to control and delete cookies

We will not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you. However, if you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by this website, or indeed any other website, you can do this through your browser settings. Each browser is different, so check the Help menu of your browser to find out how to change your cookie preferences.

Alternatively, you may wish to visit www.aboutcookies.org which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers. You will also find details on how to delete cookies from your computer as well as more general information about cookies. For information on how to do this on the browser of your mobile phone you will need to refer to your handset manual.

Please be aware that restricting cookies may impact on the functionality of this website.

Other sources of information

Kendraio App

Kendraio App (https://app.kendra.io) is a dashboard management tool which integrates with third-party services via their APIs to enable users to interact with those services directly. In most cases it is necessary for users to grant API access to Kendraio App for certain rights so that they can use Kendraio App as a client for the service's API. Kendraio App is an app and not a service, so all the data that is granted access to by the user is only able to be seen by that same user.

Specific service cases

YouTube: Kendraio App asks the user to grant access to the following YouTube permissions in order to function correctly and provide the user with the ability to access, list and modify their videos on their own YouTube channel: email, profile, openid, ../auth/youtube, ../auth/youtube.force-ssl.

To use YouTube's API, you must agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy. If you connect with your YouTube account, you can manage your permission later at your Google Security Settings.

Kendraio App permits user created Flows to be shared as Flow low-code and/or links. Flows may only store public YouTube data for less than 30 days at a time. Before this duration is reached, the data must be refreshed or deleted. This does not affect your own personal use of your own private account data. For example, storing a list of your own most popular YouTube videos is allowed.

Kendraio User Registration: You can register for an account with Kendraio that lists you as a participant in the initiative. When registering you will be asked to supply the following information:

  • A chosen username for this service
  • Full name
  • Email Address
  • Country
  • Organisation (if relevant)

  • Your postal address
